Castle Rock scrambling

Hello climbers. It's high time for a meetup! This season, we will start off at Castle Rock State Park, which offers some very unique bouldering as well as tree climbing opportunities. Go up a rock, come down a tree, or vice versa. We will probably hike around a bit while climbing. Photos from a previous Castle Rock meetup can be found here:

No equipment is required other than shoes which are comfortable for climbing, and preferably abrasion-resistant long pants. Be sure to bring a water bottle, and if the weather is good, plan on getting to the park at least a few minutes early, as it can be difficult to find parking. Also note that there is a $10 fee for parking in the gravel lot. Feel free to contact me for carpool info.

We typically will wait up to 15 minutes for latecomers, but if you don't RSVP, we won't know you're there! Also, please cancel your RSVP at least an hour before the meetup if you can't make it.
