Catalyze SV Launch Event - NOT a typical Meetup discussion.

Background:
In 2015, the community came together to advocate for a groundbreaking development concept which the City of Santa Clara eventually voted to support. The Agrihood (Win6 Village - www.win6village.org) became an example of how together we can engage a diverse community, shape project designs, and then persuade city government to back community-supported development.

From incredible local participation and the powerful example it set, a new grassroots organization called Catalyze SV was established this year by many community advocates and me. Because of your past community engagement, we thought you'd be interested to learn more about Catalyze SV and perhaps get involved.

Briefly, Catalyze SV has two main objectives:

1. Create a more collaborative, inclusive and effective community engagement process, and
2. Positively influence projects that align with our values and to ensure they are built.

This is not a typical Meet Up. This is the official Catalyze SV's launch event.
