Hiking at Castle Rock [Social Event]

Members and guests, you are invited to join us for a short and relaxing 5-mile hike at Castle Rock State Park!

There will be fairly low elevation gains but great views of small cliffs, waterfalls, and lush foliage.

Please be sure to bring your own bagged lunch and water! We will be having lunch on the trail.

During the hike, we will take some time enjoying the spoils of our recent rain. Please remember to dress in long pants and sleeves as there are some poison oak and moisture tends to make them a bit more potent.

For Bay Area Residents coming from the north, please meet at Starbucks on 14410 Big Basin Way, Saratoga, CA 95070 by no later than 9:30 AM to make it easier for us to find each other! (Cell phone reception may not work at the park.) If you are going to meet us at Starbucks, please make sure to let Andrew know or leave a comment here so we know to wait for you!

For those of us coming from the Santa Cruz area or anywhere south of the park, just take Hwy 9-North and turn right on CA-35 and look for the Castle Rock State Park sign.

Please remember to bring $8 in cash for parking.
