About us
Welcome to the Silver Halide Enthusiasts and Social Club. We started this group because we believe that slowing down to compose a shot, load a roll of film, and wait for the results is a rewarding way to experience photography. Whether you are still shooting your first roll of 35mm or you have been working with large format for years, this is a space to share the process rather than just the final image.
Our meetups are low-key and focused on community. We get together for photowalks around the city, coffee shop chats about developing techniques, and occasional gear swaps where we can help each other troubleshoot or trade spare parts. It is less about being an expert and more about finding others who still appreciate the tactile nature of film. We hope you will join us for our next outing to talk shop and capture a few frames.
