Tube Setting Faceted Stones
Silver Peak Jewelry Arts, 100 E. Cleveland St., Lafayette, CO, USExpand your skill-set in the world of gemstone jewelry by learning how to set faceted stones into tube settings, which gives a clean and modern look to your jewelry designs. At the end of class, you will have completed a pair of bar or disc faceted stone earrings or two pendants.
We will cover:- Tube setting: overview, sizing, and fitting
- Stone selection
- Measuring stones
- Forming metal
- Texturing metal
- Soldering tube settings
- Faceted stone setting in tube setting
Details:
- Sunday October 26 from 11:00-5:00 at Silver Peak Jewelry Arts, 100 E. Cleveland St. Lafayette, CO
- 6 contact hours, ages 14+
- # students 3 minimum, 5 maximum
- Materials kit fee is $50 which includes the sterling silver, tube settings, and two 5 mm faceted gemstones in our base collection (or you can upgrade to our higher-end gemstones). Payable to instructor at time of class. Cash, Check or Venmo accepted.
- Prerequisite: Metals 1 and 2, Beginning Metalsmithing, or equivalent experience.
The last day to cancel your class registration for a refund or transfer ($25 transfer fee applies) is October 11, 2025.
