From the organizers of the Silver Spring Cloud Meetup, this is a local tech meetup for AI builders, software engineers, cloud engineers, developers, founders, and AI practitioners in the Silver Spring / DMV area.
What to expect Short talks plus open networking. Topics on deck for our first sessions:
- Local AI models: running Qwen, Llama, and friends on your own hardware (Ollama, MLX, llama.cpp)
- Agentic AI: what's actually working in production, and what isn't
