Lake Artemesia Family Stroll!

This beautiful 2.4-mile loop trail near College Park, Maryland. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 42 min to complete.
This is VERY stroller friendly!

This is a popular trail for birding, cross-country skiing, and fishing, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

Accessibility: There are 3 designated accessible spaces in the paved parking lot off of Berwyn Road at the north end of the trail. All of them are van-accessible with striped access aisles. The trail surface is pavement (with railings at bridges), smooth, and typically at least 5 feet wide. The estimated grade is gentle (3% or less).

This trail will likely be navigable for most wheelchairs/mobility equipment or stroller users. There are benches and picnic tables along the route for resting. According to the park website, there is an accessible fishing pier here.
