A weekly dinner series in private homes of the senior generation across Copenhagen, where small groups join the table for an evening of food, conversation, and life experience.

Every Wednesday, we bring together a table of 5–8 people of all ages for dinner hosted by a Silver in their home — a senior (65+) with decades of life experience, perspective, and stories to share.

It’s a real dinner where you get direct access to stories of someone who has lived a long, complex life - and the time to ask real questions and hear how things played out.

And it's totally unique.

What to expect

• A home-cooked meal (vegetarian options available)
• One Silver host (65+ years of experience) opening their home and life experience
• 5–8 guests of mixed ages and backgrounds *note, people book directly on our site, so the numbers who click attending on meetup don't show how many people will be there.

Silvers is a project of dinners hosted by the senior generation. To give people access to the authentic stories and knowledge of senior people. Based in Copenhagen.

Every Silvers Dinner is hosted by someone who has lived a full life and wants to share what they have learned through time.

Now, they open their homes for a few guests at a time to share a homemade meal and life inspiration.

This next evening takes place at Claire’s home by the lakes in Østerbro.
Claire is a Jamaican artist, teacher, and storyteller who has lived in Denmark for over 30 years. She is part of the senior generation and brings decades of experience. She is one of the most creative minds we have been lucky enough to meet with this project, always thinking of what she can invent or create from scratch.

The evening includes a homemade Jamaican meal, Jamaican coffee (and optionally rum), and desserts like coconut drops and biscuits. You’ll eat together while Claire plays Jamaican music and presents stories from her life in Jamaica.

At some point during the evening, Claire will move on to guide a small creative crafts activity, a chance to work with your hands, continue the conversation, and be guided by Claire's passion and expertise. The atmosphere is informal, curious, and shaped by own Claire’s life experience and perspective.

The ticket costs 400 DKK. The majority of the price goes directly to the host for food, preparation, materials and hosting. It also supports the development of Silvers as a small, independent project creating new Silvers experiences.
