It’s a special edition: an Open House with Jan Utzon.
And it's the only one until September.***
On Sunday June 1st, Jan opens the doors to the house his father — Jørn Utzon — designed for their family in 1950. It’s one of the most iconic private homes in Denmark. A place that shaped Jan’s life and thinking, and is known for its influenced on the design language of Danish modernism.
You’ll be invited into the home and join Jan around the table. You’ll see Jan’s own work, and take part in a group conversation about life, inspiration, and the spaces that shape how we live. Led by Jan, with his decades of experience and philosophical, referential, architectural library of a mind.
It’s an afternoon to explore the house that has shaped Danish architecture, and speak together about buildings that have shaped you.
No architectural background is needed. Just bring yourself.
