Silvers is a project of dinners hosted by the senior generation. To give people access to the authentic stories and knowledge of senior people. Based in Copenhagen.

Every Silvers Dinner is hosted by someone who has lived a big life and wants to share what they have learned through time.

Now, they open their homes for a few guests at a time to share a homemade meal and life inspiration.

Garba is an expert storyteller with decades of experience using dialogue to build understanding across cultures. He has shared his stories in 8 languages, across 85 countries (and counting), and in many spaces including classrooms, parliaments, and refugee camps.

Garba is opening his home in Helsingør for this dinner. The theme is: Tell Your Story.

Don’t worry, Garba will do most of the storytelling! He will begin by sharing some of his own, maybe growing up as a cowboy in Mauritania, escaping a school that only taught French history, swimming away from his village with only his camera in hand, or founding his NGO as a minority in Denmark.

But the magic to this dinner is that it's a place where guests can learn how to say a few words about their own journey. Everyone must start somewhere, and Garba believes we all have a story to tell. Now with this dinner you can learn from his real life experience, to find and share your own stories.

Price disclaimer: The ticket costs 400 DKK. The majority of the price goes directly to the host beverages, dinner, and hosting. It also supports the development of Silvers as a small, independent project creating new Silvers experiences.
