Christchurch Silverstripe Meetup – November 2020

Hi Everyone,

The Silverstripe meetup is back after a Covid break with a new location and time.

This meetup will take place at The Loft co-working space on Lichfield Street near Dux Central and above Sal's Pizza.

We'll be starting at 5:30 for networking and have a speaker starting at 6pm.

Matt Lang will give us an overview of how Media Suite have been running Silverstripe sites on AWS recently. This will touch on using bitnami packaged instances, CircleCI [build, test, deploy], and AWS [S3, EC2, RDS, CloudFormation, CloudFront, CloudWatch]. If there's time he may also touch on StoryBook and using Algolia (an external search service).

Update: Silverstripe will be providing some pizza for tonights event!
