FATDOG 2018
FATDOG = Friday After Thanksgiving Day of Gaming A full day of open gaming with lots of variety in board games and tabletop gaming: euro games, family games, long strategy games, goofy games, dexterity games, party games and lots more. Beginners are welcome, we can teach you fun and challenging games, just bring yourself and the willingness to have some fun. We have space, table and chairs... room for games big and small. Come for a few hours or stay the whole day. We are starting early and going 'til late. Bring along new, or gently used, board/card games as prizes for the FATDOG Raffle Bingo. The attendees will earn raffle tickets by playing games on their bingo sheet. Win the donated games in the raffle! Note: We will have some refreshments available for purchase. There are many eating establishments a short drive away. Please keep the venue clean and tidy. We will need help with setting up and tidying up at the end of the day. Please RSVP for free either here, on Facebook, or on the VCSB meetup. https://www.meetup.com/Ventura-County-Strategy-Boardgamers/events/256218184/

What we're about

The Simi Valley Board Game Meetup Group A.K.A. SV Gamers is a group dedicated to hosting events where the community can come and play games. Interested in joining? There are no costs or dues and you do not need to own a game to join. The goal of our group is to provide a safe, fun, and growing community for all.

We typically meet monthly on a Saturday, but we are always trying to get more events on the caladenar.

For our Facebook group page click anywhere on this line. (https://www.facebook.com/groups/SimiValleyGamers/)

Games often played include various strategy, party, and social games. If you play Dice games, board games, card games, party games, or games of all sorts and are looking to meet new people to play with this is the perfect group for you to join. We even have game creators who bring along their own fun creations. If you are a creator you are welcome to bring your game for play-testing, but talk to an organizer beforehand.

If you want to play a specific title be sure to mention that on an event posting. We look forward to meeting you! What are you waiting for? :)
