Mindfulness in Daily Living: Practical Tools for Inner Balance:6 Weekly Sessions
Details
Offered through the Newmarket Public Library, this enriching six-week workshop invites you to bring mindfulness into the rhythm of your daily life.
Discover the art of living with greater ease, presence, and clarity in a supportive environment. Through guided practices and gentle reflections, participants will learn foundational mindfulness techniques—such as mindful breathing, body scans, and sitting meditation—to cultivate emotional balance and awareness of thoughts. You’ll also explore how to integrate mindful regulation into everyday experiences.
These practices extend naturally into daily activities. From walking and eating to listening and communicating, you’ll learn how ordinary moments can become opportunities for calm, connection, and renewal. The program offers practical tools to reduce stress, enhance focus, and foster a more compassionate relationship with yourself and others.
Inspired by trusted teachings, including Fully Present by Diana Winston (UCLA), this series provides a nurturing space for personal growth and inner calm.
Presented by Mukin Mutaal, Certified Mindfulness Instructor, through the Newmarket Public Library.
