Meditative Walk & Qi Gong Practice in Nature
Details
Join us for a gentle, meditative practice combining walking and Qi Gong Movement and Stance practice in the peaceful setting of Fairy Lake Park.
In this practice, we cultivate mindfulness through slow and gentle, movement synchronized with breath and enhanced awareness in meditative postures. Please know that Qi Gong includes periods of meditative stillness and naturally integrates meditation into movement, making this practice accessible and grounding for all.
We meet every Friday from 6:30–7:30 pm, year-round—rain, snow, or sun (unless conditions are extreme).
No equipment needed.
Just dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.
Benefits of practice in nature include:
Vitality from the freshness of the outdoors
Reduced stress and greater calm
Improved clarity and focus
Emotional balance and resilience
Increased sense of presence and well-being
Meeting Point:
Park in the 2nd or 3rd lot, walk along the paved path to the trail, and look for the willow tree with four trunks.
All are welcome—no prior experience needed.
