Experience one of the four rivers in Sampson County (South River, Little Coharie River, Great Coharie River, Six Runs) with a Coharie Tribal member. The adventure begins on a stretch of Great Coharie River, and finishes at the Coharie Tribal Center and Museum, where you can see the 600 year old canoe and tour the museum! THIS IS A Limited #s trip, date is set, so please don't sign up unless you are committed to the weekday Wednesday and the cost.

Tour: requires a 50$/person fee (cash preferable) to contribute to their conservation efforts. We'll use their boats as not to muck up their boat transfer timing, parking, etc. So you don't need to load your own boats ;- )

Paddle will be at least two miles long. If they are able to have a longer paddle cleared of trees up river by the week before, they'll notify us for time adjustments.

Bring: Lunch, water, bug spray, sunscreen, PFD (if you want your own, or they'll provide a basic one) and your own paddle (unless you want to use theirs)

Trip: We will paddle first, then lunch at Coharie Center, then do Museum.
