Camping @ Fairy Stone St. Park VA, paddling nearby

This is a companion camping trip in order to paddle on the Smith River with the Dan River Basin Association on Sat. 9a-4pm. There is also Fairy Stone Lake and Philpott Lake nearby to paddle on if you don't want to do the Smith River, but I am staying 3 nights-Fri. Sat. and Sun. at camp sight #10Red in Fairy Stone St. Park as it's only 6-7 miles to the put-in on the Smith River the next day. Sunday I may paddle the lakes, who knows! There are still sights available for tenting at Fairy Stone St. Park but ya better reserve them soon! Watch your reservation-they distinguish between green sights (NO TENT PAD) and red sights (TENT PADS) and you're not allowed to place tent OFF a tent pad (green sight). Of coarse if you have a trailer, camping car, you'r in no matter what. All sights have water and electric and there's a bath house. Let me know if you have further questions.
