Let’s paddle Beaverdam Lake from the swim beach ramp

Summer weather is unpredictable! Please check back here early morning for any change to plan.
water levels are still pretty low, but we have reports that parts of this lake are still paddleable, so let’s give it a try !
Please arrive early to unload gear at the boat ramp next to the swim beach, and be ready to launch at 9. plan to paddle 4-6mi at a relaxed pace. No inflatables, as usual. expect temps mid to high 80s and approaching 90!

there is an entrance fee at Beaverdam of $10 per car, $5 for seniors. there are bathrooms at the launch, and we will certainly stop for stretching legs and having a bite for lunch
MANDATORY:
when you paddle with SK, you must always wear PFD, and carry a signaling device (whistle / horn).

Water, a hat, sunglasses, h2o, lunch/snacks,
