Tuesday Evening at Farrington Point, Jordon Lake
Details
This will be a relaxing evening. Come paddle with others, relax, exercise, have fun getting to know new attendees as well as long timers. We will meet at the non-motorized boat launch at Farrington Point. Be ready to launch “paddles wet” at 6:00pm. Come prepared to get a little wet wearing summer paddling attire. To paddle with Simply Kayaking you are required to wear a Personal Flotation Device / PDF (life jacket) and carry on you a signaling device (whistle or horn).
This week we will paddle up and back on Bush Creek exploring side coves, if desired. Approximate time will be 1 1/2 to 2 hrs.
Sunset is at 8:30. We will conclude our paddle prior to sunset. If the evening is clear, paddlers may choose to stay on their own to watch.
Note: water levels are about 3ft below normal for Jordan Lake.
