👋 Hello everyone!

I’m Karen, today’s host and one of Sim Theatre’s most passionate staff members! 🔥

I just started a new job this year, so lately I’ve been thinking a lot about careers and new beginnings.

That’s why I chose two movies about people starting fresh at work!
I hope we can share our own stories, worries, and dreams—while having lots of fun with acting and English.

I’ve picked out some fantastic scenes for you, so even if you’re brand new, you’ll have a great time! 🤩

💙 Point 1: No Need to Watch the Movies First!

1. OTT timestamps provided (YouTube clips available on request!)

Just check the specific scenes in advance—no need to watch the whole movie!

Chef is on Netflix, Coupang Play, Watcha, Wavve, etc.

The Intern is on Coupang Play.

2. Custom-made English scripts

You’ll receive your script 4 days before, so you can read and rehearse at your own pace!

3. A variety of roles

Practice English expressions you’ll actually use at work, or dive into emotional scenes—there are roles for beginners and experienced actors alike.

Pick your favorite character—first come, first served! No gender restrictions—choose any role that interests you.

Main Role:

Practice delivering lines naturally, and challenge yourself with expressive acting and movement! (First come, first served)

Extra:

Want something lighter? Try a supporting role with fewer lines—perfect for beginners! (First come, first served)

💙 Point 3: Less Nerves, More Fun!

1. Icebreaking:
   Warm up with a 1-minute “mock interview” and a fun Ideal Type World Cup—shake off the nerves before we start acting!
2. Team Up:
   Members from all over the world join in, so you’ll make friends as you rehearse your scenes together! 🥰
3. Special Pre-Meet & Afterparty!
   This time, there’s a special pre-meet before we start!

We’ll visit a famous Cuban cheese sandwich spot in Sillim’s Sharosugil (the sandwich that made everyone drool in Chef). 🥹😍

And after the main event, we’ll grab dinner together at a nearby restaurant (optional)!
