Details
Lux Helsinki is an annual light art festival taking place in January. Let's take a walking tour of the installations around the downtown area (marked as 1-13 on this map) and then sit down somewhere to discuss the experience. We'll meet at the installation named illumaphonium (number 1 on the map).
NOTE to our regulars: this event starts at 5.30PM (not 2PM) to view the pieces in the dark.

# Lux Helsinki 8.–12.1.2025
Lux Helsinki will once again showcase the diverse forms of light art in January 2025! This year’s festival theme is “Stories from Beyond.”
Artworks will be displayed in Helsinki’s city center, from Railway Square to the Observatory Hill in Kaivopuisto. Additional installations can be found at Mall of Tripla, Kannelmäki, Tapiola’s Tapionpuisto in Espoo, and the Lux In exhibition at the Cable Factory.
