Sing and Dance - SIDNEY Bandshell 6-7:30pm

Come connect sing and dance with us! 6:00 singing, then 6:30-7:30 dancing under the moon!

Yes, you may be comfy on the couch; yes, maybe you had a long day; yes, maybe you are tired - BUT - I guarantee you will leave a revitalised, happy, and I-feel-goooood-from-dancing better kind of tired!

All are welcome. Just show up and move your body! And maybe...BRING A FLOWY SCARF TO DANCE WITH or a hat to throw in the air or ... surprise us!

Learn songs of community, and experience the joy of singing in a welcoming and relaxed environment. All songs are taught by call and response. No experience needed - even if you never sing, just bring your enthusiasm! Let’s grow something beautiful together!

If you’d like to contribute something to cover costs of running the group you can e-transfer to singforjoy135@gmail.com, but there is no requirement to do that. I prefer E-transfer since donations in person can distract from the event :) I look forward to singing with you!

What if I can't sing? Everyone can sing in this group, even if you 'never sing', 'don't have a good voice', or only sing in the car alone. All voices are welcome and we would love to have you there!

What songs do we sing? None of the songs are religious, we only meet at this location since they have generously offered us a room to use. We sing a wide variety of short songs, often in rounds, layers, or harmony. They have themes of community, nature, joy, and hope among many others.
