Red Dot Baroque: Bach Concertos Extravaganza! Victoria Concert Hall

The arrangement is to meetup at City Hall MRT first for lunch at 1pm before adjourning for the concert at 3pm. We will get some grub and munch at VCH before the concert.

Synopsis

Making use of Singapore as their platform, Red Dot Baroque (RDB)'s mainstage production of the year features your favorite Bach concertos performed on an assortment of baroque instruments, as RDB players take turns in the limelight as soloists!

In celebration of SG60, Bach's masterpieces are paired with the Asian premiere of Chen Zhangyi's "Rainforest Refrains" (2025), a newly commissioned work pairing sounds of the East and the West, inspired by the "ritornello" form of baroque concertos.
