Details

Developers! Come level up your Identity and Security skills at this year's last Identity and Security Meetup. This meetup will be online.

We have two great sessions for this month's meetup as well.

Session 1: Secure Micro Frontends

Microfrontends are one of the most popular architecture nowadays in building applications but one of the major challenges is to secure your microfrontends as one app, in this topic, we will discuss a brief summary on how we can secure microfrontends with best practices used in the industry.

Speaker : Seiji Ralph Villafranca

A Senior developer based in the Netherlands, a Microsoft MVP, Auth0 Ambassador and one of the Community Leaders of Angular PH who is involved organizing tech meetups, mentorships, and has written tutorials in his own website seijivillafranca.com , he is a speaker in several meetups, in local and international conferences that focuses on JavaScript development, and Microsoft products, and also a book author for full-stack web development.

Session 2: Ask our Identity Experts

In this session, Carla will be answering questions on Passkeys.

Speaker: Carla Urrea Stabile
Carla has been working as a software engineer since 2014, particularly as a backend engineer and doing system design. She considers herself a language-agnostic developer, but if she had to choose, she would like to work with Ruby, Python, and Elixir. After realizing how fun creating content and sharing experiences with the developer community was, she switched to Developer Advocacy. She likes to learn and work with new technologies. When she is not coding or creating content, you can probably find her going on a bike ride, hiking, or just hanging out with my dog, Dasha.

Hosts: Daizen Ikehara and Pradheepa Pullanieswaran

Daizen Ikehara joined the Developer Relations team in March 2023 as a Principal Developer Advocate focusing on Japan. Daizen started using C# in the early stages of his professional career. Then, he touched on various JavaScript technology/frameworks - Angular, React, and Vue. Recently, he’s been using Node.js/Javascript more often. He is passionate about talking with developers. Outside work, Daizen likes to take long walks, play games, and watch Formula 1 racing.
Pradheepa Pullanieswaran is a Developer Advocate at Okta with a real love for backend and open-source technologies. She has worked in enterprise and web technologies for over a decade. She is also an active Women Who Code Singapore Chapter Leader who mentors women in the software industry. She loves to read and spends time with her family in her spare time.
