Playtest Meetup @ King and the Pawn

Try new prototypes/pre-Kickstarter games from local designers and foreign publishers! Designers and non-designers welcome.

Format:

• 630-930pm: Playtest local designer prototypes
• 930-1130pm: Play unpublished pre-Kickstarter games (brought by event participants!)

For Non-Designers:

• FREE gaming of ***unpublished games only***
• FREE snacks (fries/nachos/wings), contributed by designers
• $2.50 for 1 non-alcoholic drink (excl. milkshakes/spritzers) (U.P. $7)
• $6.00 for one 300ml draft beer or glass of house wine (U.P. $12)
• 20% discount on all additional food orders

For Designers playtesting your game:

• FREE gaming of ***unpublished games only***
• Please contribute $10/pax for snacks to be shared with the group
• $2.50 for 1 non-alcoholic drink (excl. milkshakes/spritzers) (U.P. $7)
• $6.00 for one 300ml draft beer or glass of house wine (U.P. $12)
• 20% discount on all additional food orders
• Please split your time equally between playtesting your game and helping others to playtest their games, and keep each playtest to ~1 hour unless all players agree to continue.

Other notes:

• Playing published games (from the library or otherwise) will incur the cafe's usual $10/pax board game cover charge
• All prices before 10% service charge and GST
