Prof Scott Wilson is Professor of Composition and Electronic Music in the Music Department, where he teaches composition and works with Birmingham ElectroAcoustic Sound Theatre (BEAST).

BEAST and the studios are at the forefront of research into composition large-scale multichannel electroacoustic systems, and is now capable of mounting concert systems with in excess of 100 individual loudspeakers, each discretely addressable. https://www.birmingham.ac.uk/facilities/ea-studios/studios/index.aspx
