Do you love singing in the shower? In your car? Did you think about belting out and singing out loud at a karaoke bar, but are you shy?

Then you're just like us.

Meet and sing with fellow amateur singers in the DC metro area at our next meeting - typically, in a smoke-free environment! Don't be shy or afraid to join. It may be awkward to join a new group when you don't know anyone already, but we are a friendly and welcoming group!

I organize this with my other meetups and you will get to network and mingle with insanely wicked socialites.

Recession is a block away from Farragut North Metro Sation (take L Street Exit) and also a two blocks away from Farragut West Metro Station (take 18th Street Exit). Check it on http://www.wmata.com/ and plan accordingly.

Street parking might be difficult. However, if you plan to drive, there is a 24 hours parking garage (PMI 1111 19th St. NW, Washington, DC 20036 ( https://spothero.com/washington-dc-parking/1111-19th-st-nw ).

Payment Instructions :

Verify correct dollar amount for number of people you're paying for.

If you don't have a Paypal account, click "Pay with a Debit or Credit Card".

If you have a Paypal account, simply log in, and pay as you normally would via Paypal.

Refund & Ticket Resell

All sales are final. We only refund the full amount, if the event is canceled. If it is rescheduled, we will send an email to those who RSVPed 'YES' advising that. A full refund will be given to those that let us know within 2 calendar days of the update email, if you are unable to make it on the new date. No refunds will be given after that time.

However, you can sell your ticket to someone else if you are unable to attend. Please, feel free to post in the comment box for the event, that you have a ticket for sale. Work out payment between yourselves, and have the seller only send the organizer a "message" through their Meetup profile (do not comment in the comment box of the event posting) letting us know the full name and Meetup profile URL (if a member) of the person taking your spot. You must let us know two hours before the RSVP close time, on the day of the event.

ABOUT THE EVENT

Embrace your inner diva and flaunt your vocals all night! Whatever you want to sing, we want to hear it. The entire group accompanies you when you sing and we will be your background singers.

Need a little liquid courage? We have you covered. Before taking the stage, we’ll have plenty of drink specials. You’ll be sure to work up an appetite, so we will also feature food specials all night.

We will have a registration station and check you in.

Parking might be a challenge and the event involves drinking, we highly recommend you to get a shared ride or taxi service. DRINK RESPONSIBLY!

Grab your friends and get ready to be the star of the show. The whole band will be your background.

You don't necessarily do singing. You just come to enjoy the party and get your weekend to a good start. With the right party.

Celebrate your birthdays or your moments in life (anniversary/promotion/graduation/bachelorette/Proposal.....) with us. Sing it to that special someone, on your proposal and engagement!

Groups are highly encouraged to get a table/bottle service. It would be much less expensive than spending individually.

Judging is based 50% on an independent panel of judges weighted by 50% votes from the crowd. ***Bring more friends and get more votes! ***
