Singers and songwriters of Southern Utah Meetup #1

April 27th Tuesday: Vocal Basics

-Basic breathing and posture
-How to know if you are singing correctly
-Pitch and singing scales to practice
-And of course, meeting other people in the group and being social!

We will begin by watching instructional videos, running through exercises, and then open it up to discussion and questions. This is a great way to learn and find your voice in a community of people passionate about music.

This is also a great way to make like-minded friends and stay accountable to keep practicing and begin collaborating with other singers and songwriters (More on this feature later.)

** Please Note: This first Meetup will be held via Zoom. I will be on the lookout for a local venue to perhaps hold subsequent Meetups, while streaming on Zoom, for our virtual members. Let me know if you have a suggestion for a local location or group activities.
