Ein neuer Workshop ist in der Stadt!
Nach vielen erfolgreichen Jahren in Berlin kommt SINGING AND SWINGING jetzt nach Wien.
Jazzliebhaber*innen, Gesangsbegeisterte und alle, die Freude am gemeinsamen Musizieren haben, sind herzlich willkommen!
Das JAZZ VOCAL SEMINAR – SINGING AND SWINGING richtet sich an alle, die sich dem Jazz zum ersten Mal nähern möchten, ebenso wie an Sänger*innen, die gemeinsam lernen und ihre Interpretation vertiefen wollen.
Jeden Monat werden ein bis zwei Stücke aus dem Jazz-Standard-Repertoire ausgewählt. Während des Treffens machen wir vorbereitende rhythmische Übungen, lernen die Stücke gemeinsam und arbeiten mit Leichtigkeit, Freude und Swing an einer möglichen Interpretation.
In diesem Treffen am 22.2. machen wir:

• Rhythmus- und Silbentrennungsübungen
• Lernen und Singen von “The Very Thought of You”
• Tipps zur Interpretation eines Musikstücks

Der Workshop richtet sich an alle Niveaustufen, insbesondere auch an Anfänger*innen, und ist für alle Altersgruppen geeignet.
Sprache: Deutsch und/oder Englisch (je nach Teilnehmer*innen)

Achtung! Es wird eine kleine Gruppe sein, deshalb bitte deine Anmeldung nicht stornieren, damit alle teilnehmen können!

A new workshop is coming to town!
After many successful years in Berlin, SINGING AND SWINGING is now coming to Vienna.
Jazz lovers, singing enthusiasts, and anyone who enjoys making music together are warmly welcome!
The JAZZ VOCAL WORKSHOP – SINGING AND SWINGING is designed both for those who are approaching jazz for the first time and for singers who wish to learn together and deepen their personal interpretation.
Each month, one or two pieces from the jazz standard repertoire are selected. During the session, we will do preparatory rhythm exercises, learn the songs together, and work lightly, joyfully, and with swing on a possible personal interpretation.
At this session on February 22, we will:

• Rhythm and syllable-separation exercises (Scat)
• Learning and singing “The Very Thought of You”
• Tips on interpreting a jazz piece

The workshop is open to all levels, especially beginners, and is suitable for all age groups.
Language: German and/or English (depending on the participants)
