Songs for Voting Practice

We’ll start with a land/lineage acknowledgement, then a grounding meditation, then introductions. Then we’ll get to singing! We’re going to learn some simple songs encouraging people to vote, that we’ll hopefully go sing together in some public places in the coming weeks leading up to elections. kiddos and pups on leashes welcome! Here’s a YouTube playlist of songs we’ll be learning if you want to get acquainted with them before we meet up.

*Update on when we’ll be singing in public:* If you want to join, mark your calendars for October 24. That’s a Saturday and early voting will have started and will be open, so we’ll be on the Square in the mid-afternoon singing, encouraging people to head over to vote. (Specific time tbd).
