Join us for this half-day singing workshop in Dublin 2. This will be a group harmony singing workshop with a focus on giving space to your breath. Breathing can be a powerful tool for relieving stress and anxiety, but how to breathe can also be a source of anxiety. Many of us have dysregulated breathing due to stress, trauma, anxiety and chronic lung conditions, and for others, there might be confusion as to whether we are breathing optimally for health and for enjoying our voices.

This is where singing, moving, and giving permission to ourselves to be and to express can come in…so we will use fun singing exercises to support you in your breathing regulation. You’ll learn a lot about breathing and body work to support vocal expression, and have fun experiencing connection through singing too. This workshop will be informed by my training as a Singing for Lung Health tutor.

The focus on the breath will be interspersed with uplifting and empowering chants and songs from around the world, we will sing our cares away, have fun and express ourselves. You will leave renewed and uplifted, and with a deep sense of belonging and community. You don’t need any singing or voice-work experience, as it isn’t about talent, it is about participation. This is a relaxed, friendly and safe space, with no right or wrong way to use the voice.
