Weekly Wednesday Evening Walk @ Yorba Regional Park - East Anaheim

ABOUT THIS EVENT
Join us for this weekly recreational evening walk at Yorba Regional Park in East Anaheim every Wednesday evening at 6:30PM. Enjoy some fresh air, exercise, and make new friends at this event. We will walk between 2.5 to 3 miles. We will start walking at 6:30 PM, so please allow enough time to park your car and walk to the meeting place. Guests are welcome, and the park is dog friendly (on leash).

FREE Parking lot located at the West side of the park by the baseball fields (at the intersection of Huxford Lane and East La Palma Avenue), or paid parking in Lot A inside the park ($5.00 parking fee). We will meet by the restrooms (opposite first base to the ball diamond closest to parking), or text Albert @ (657) 296-1119

THIS IS A MULTI-GROUP EVENT: This Event is scheduled with multiple Meetup Groups and Facebook, so the number of people who have RSVP'd will be more than shown on this group.

ABOUT YORBA REGIONAL PARK, AND VEHICLE PARKING: The park entrances are on the south side of La Palma Avenue, East of Imperial Highway. The park covers 140 acres and is a mile wide. It is adjacent to the Santa Ana River and City of Yorba Linda. Although the terrain is flat, the greenery and lakes offer scenic views. You can park in the

3. Comfortable walking or hiking shoes
4. Trail Mix, or Energy Bar (optional)

ABOUT THE WALK/ HIKE: The length is 2.5 to 3 miles on level ground and we will trek on Yorba Park sidewalks and the Santa Ana River trail. Route is beginning level. From the starting point we will proceed northeast through the woodsy area on the south side of the lakes. Once out of the woods we will go northeast on the river trail. Once we reach the opposite end of the park we will return southeast on sidewalk and will walk on the north side of the lakes.

DIRECTIONS: Set you GPS to 7400 East La Palma Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92807. From the 91 freeway, exit Imperial Highway and head north, then turn right on La Palma Avenue. Turn in to the sports park which is the first right after Fairmont Boulevard. Parking is free. This parking lot has room for 100 vehicles; if it is full, then drive to the main park entrance at 7600 East La Palma Avenue, pay $5 for parking, drive to the west end of the park, and park in Parking Lot A.
