The 25th anniversary of 9/11 will be marked by a free memorial service on September 11, 2026 at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens in Palm Harbor. The ceremony will include guest speakers, live music, ceremonial tributes, honor guards, and helicopter flyovers from local agencies.
The tribute features several notable elements:

• Tribute Beams: Twin beams of light will project into the night sky to honor the victims and heroes.
• Permanent Memorial: The grounds house the largest 9/11 memorial in Florida, featuring a 150-pound piece of steel from the World Trade Center and a memorial bell from an NYC fire truck.
• Student Exhibits: The event will also feature original 9/11-inspired artwork and readings from the local student essay contest winners.
