An Exclusive Screening of the film "Maestro"

An Exclusive Screening of the film "Maestro"

Details

I suggest that you consider attending an exclusive screening of the film "Maestro" on Thursday, Feb. 11 at 6 at the Spectrum Theater in Rosslyn, VA. It is metro accessible and parking after 6 pm is free. The event is hosted by the Arlington Philharmonic, Arlington's own non-profit professional symphony orchestra, and includes an audience Q&A with film director and producer David Donnelly. A social hour with light fare and live music will start at 6, the film starts at 7.
Here is a synopsis of the film: “For a period spanning two years, a film crew follows Grammy award-winning conductor Paavo Jarvi and an array of brilliant musicians as they perform to sold-out halls across the globe. The resulting footage captures the pressures of self-expression, the rush of performance, and above all, the power of a universal language. Maestro is an intimate, unprecedented glimpse into the life of a renowned conductor and a vibrant, contemporary portrait of the world of classical music.”
Tickets are $30 in advance (buy on the website www.arlingtonphilharmonic.org and click the link Maestro Movie Screening) and $40 at the door.
Many thanks for your consideration. Respectfully submitted, Nancy L.
