What we’re about
This group was started to create a great community in the Bucks and Berks areas. Attending our events is a great way to make new sociable friends and to maybe even meet that someone special along the way if you're currently single. However the events are open to everyone and you don't need to be single to join.
You will also see events listed on our Meet Up put on by Kevin from Walk & Explore and Toyin from Get a Social Life who puts up some interesting events also not within the area such as holidays abroad, weekend breaks and some very classy events in London.
Hope to see you all soon to start social networking locally.
Best wishes Julie Davies
Dining Speed Dating on Tables of 6 where everyone can speak to each other on the table.
ONE FEMALE PLACE ON 30 - 49 GROUP - SOLD OUT MEN THIS GROUP. JUST NEED 3 MEN FOR 50+ GROUP
Speed dating means you get to speak to everyone attending and combined with eating together in a group of six on the table makes the whole experience a lot more relaxed.
We will have 5 tables of 6 in each age range:
30 - 49 group with 5 tables of 6 (1 female place & sold out for men)
and 50+ with 5 tables of 6. (full for ladies & 3 male places this group)
The above is the head count as at June 13th

Julie Davies on 07948 417416 as need to plan you into one of the groups.
The Beech House is fast at serving food as I recall from eating there. We will make it simple but just have 2 sharing platters and a large pizza on each table.
We will ask the men to move tables every 15 minutes. The whole dating experience will take two hours maximum as we ask you to arrive at 7pm to sit down at 7.30pm. Please do not book if you are not confident you can arrive by 7pm.
We will have places saying man, woman, man, woman so when the first 3 ladies and 3 men arrive within one of the age ranges we can ask you to sit. It will be better to get a large drink (or two even) when you arrive as this will last you for the 90 minutes you are on the tables.
It is one hour and fifteen minutes on the 5 tables and we are allowing an extra 15 minutes for the 4 moves to the other number tables. There won't be any whistle blowing. The three men on each table will be requested to move to the next table when we reach 15 minutes on each table.
At 9pm when the dating/dining has finished you can all carry on socialising at the bar and even talk to the people in the other age range tables if you wish. This is a good time to get back together with anyone you liked in particular and exchange numbers. You can also pass messages via us after the event if you can remember the first name and area the person lives.
THE FOOD ON EACH TABLE WILL BE:
ANTIPASTO (Sharing Platter)
Tomato bruschetta, prosciutto, chorizo, marinated olives, Mozzarella di Bufala, roasted aubergines, courgettes, peppers & red onion, puccia bread

Forest Bathing is an ancient Japanese Art. It is proven to reduce stress levels and to aid better sleep. It increases energy and lifts your mood.
Forest Bathing helps promote mindfulness and reconnects your body and soul to nature.
Evidence suggests that the benefits of Forest Bathing has positive psychological effects.
Also mindfulness has separate evidence inducing a 'feel good factor' increasing the good hormones and reducing the business of this sometimes hectic world. What to the expect
We will guide you on a walk to explore nature and it’s beautiful natural sounds.
Book your place now so as not to be disappointed.
Jill will be bringing her Wind Gong for the sound explosion. We will do some focused breath work for calming the mind and a little silent walking as we approach the forest.
We have sweet treats for the end. Please show up .... these events are so loved and we love to do them.
When we arrive deep in the forest you will be invited to walk silently to the spot Jill has chosen, so as to bring you into the space and then to sit against a tree, stand, or even lie down, close your eyes and listen to the sounds around you, to absorb the tranquility of silence amidst the noise of your heart beat and breath.
Slowly the mind quietens, the breath becomes deep and the body settles.
After being guided through a gentle meditation with sounds from the forest and Jill's Wind Gong, some guided breath work to mantra.
We can enjoy the rest of this beautiful day and stroll back for refreshments at the local pub. Please sign up .. we will ask members to pay a £8 contribution, to cover the preparation costs.
