Summer Solstice Meditation in Nature - Forest Bathing evening walk

Details
The Summer Solstice, a time of peak sunlight and the longest day of the year, holds significant spiritual meaning for many cultures and religions.
It symbolizes new beginnings, abundance, and the power of the sun as a source of life and growth. Spiritually, it's a time for celebrating the sun's energy, connecting with one's inner power, and embracing the abundance of nature.

I will lead the walk, and Jill will give you a gentle introduction into Forest Bathing.

Forest Bathing is an ancient Japanese Art. It is proven to reduce stress levels and to aid better sleep. It increases energy and lifts your mood.
Forest Bathing helps promote mindfulness and reconnects your body and soul to nature.
Evidence suggests that the benefits of Forest Bathing has positive psychological effects.
Also mindfulness has separate evidence inducing a 'feel good factor' increasing the good hormones and reducing the business of this sometimes hectic world.
What to the expect
We will guide you on a walk to explore nature and it’s beautiful natural sounds.
Book your place now so as not to be disappointed.
Jill will be bringing her Wind Gong for the sound explosion. We will do some focused breath work for calming the mind and a little silent walking as we approach the forest.
We have sweet treats for the end.
Please show up .... these events are so loved and we love to do them.
When we arrive deep in the forest you will be invited to walk silently to the spot Jill has chosen, so as to bring you into the space and then to sit against a tree, stand, or even lie down, close your eyes and listen to the sounds around you, to absorb the tranquility of silence amidst the noise of your heart beat and breath.
Slowly the mind quietens, the breath becomes deep and the body settles.
After being guided through a gentle meditation with sounds from the forest and Jill's Wind Gong, some guided breath work to mantra.
We can enjoy the rest of this beautiful day and stroll back for refreshments at the local pub.
Please sign up .. we will ask members to pay a £8 contribution, to cover the preparation costs.
Thank you
