It`s a beautiful day for a walk .. with coffee stop at a 16th Century pub

For the start of the walk, we can meet along Church Road before St Mary Le Moor Church ... please see map for start location.

Turville is a picturesque Anglo Saxon village set in idyllic countryside.
Clustered around the village green are some of the most attractive cottages you can imagine, with a popular country pub on one side and the ancient 12th-century parish church of St Mary`s on the other.

Fingest is often described as the perfect example of an unspoilt village, with medieval and Georgian cottages clustered around the churchyard.

If you`re feeling energetic, then maybe climb up to the Cobstone windmill, which features in "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang". It`s a steep climb , but great views over Turville and the Chilterns.

We can stop at the Bull & Butcher, a quintessential English pub, built in 1550, with an open fire and original beams. the garden is the place to be on a sunny day, and four legged friends are welcome..
If you prefer then maybe visit the 12th-century village Church of St Mary`s aka St Barnabus in the "Vicar of Dibley"
