What we’re about
We are a social group for single people interested in meeting others but who aren't looking for partners. Singles' social groups often come with an assumption that you're there to find a partner. This can be frustrating if you've chosen to remain single. Our group is aimed at people who are not just content to be single, but for whom it is a conscious choice. It intends to be a space to meet other like-minded people without needing to politely say no to people who don't feel the same way.
Many of our members will be single but it is not a requirement - you simply need to not be looking for a partner. We ask all members to respect our ethos by not seeking partners within the group. We welcome members of all backgrounds, ages, genders and sexual orientations and expect ask our members to respect all identities. We aim to meet fortnightly on both Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons for a mixture of casual socialising in the week and more active days out at the weekend.
