Some of the positive effects of laughter yoga:
1. Improved mood immediately. Laughter releases endorphins, the body's own happiness hormones, which contribute to increased joy and positivity.
2. Reduces stress and counteracts burnout. Laughter lowers levels of stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline and provides both mental and physical relaxation.
3. Increases creativity and productivity. When the brain relaxes, problem solving, collaboration and innovative thinking improve.
4. Strengthens community and team spirit. Laughing together creates trust, togetherness and facilitates communication.
5. Accessible to everyone. No prior knowledge or physical flexibility is required - everyone can participate, regardless of age or experience.
