Snuggle Puzzles- a facilitated group cuddle event

Come join us for an evening of group connection, warmth, relaxation and safe touch! The Snuggle Puzzle is a space where we come together to celebrate the joy of physical closeness, mindfulness, and mutual care.

Sometimes I facilitate what I call "snuggle puzzles." One person lays in the middle of the room and everyone else is then invited to find a way for their bodies to fit into the puzzle of humans. Then when someone wants to mix it up they say "snuggle puzzle!" and we all reorient and find a new comfortable position. Typically I've used this as an icebreaker but for this event, the snuggle puzzles are the main event! We will have 3 facilitated rounds of 20-25 minutes with a 5-8 minute in between rounds.
6:00pm arrival and social time
6:15 gather. introductions. questions.
6:30 Round 1- open form snuggle puzzles- people can chat and connect verbally.
7:00 Round 2- we quiet ourselves and try to focus on relaxation and noticing our breath and our bodies. You may still use quiet voices to check in with each other.
7:30 Round 3- (the experiment) I want to invite people to wear a blindfold and maintain quietness. To find comfort in the unknown. To experience sharing touch and not knowing who you are touching or being touched by. If you want to participate in the event but this round doesn't sound comfortable you are welcome to join without the blindfold.
8:00 Closing Conversation about how the experience was. What came up for you. What did/didn't work for you? And then cleanup and open social time as people depart.

People are welcome to hang out till 9pm.

What to bring - personal water. A snack to share.
