Annual Picnic

Join us for the 2024 Single Over 50 Fun Cincinnati annual picnic. This will be an all day event for the group. We will gather at 11:00 a.m.
Please read the following information regarding the event:
- The event will be held at Winton Woods off Winton Road
- The exact location and directions will be emailed to members who RSVP prior to the event
-The event is set for 40 people. Members are permitted to bring a guest.
If we exceed 40 attendees the guest count can be extended, however, the shelter we have rented holds 40 people so members might be required to bring their own chair.
- Since we are paying for the shelter we are permitted to bring alcoholic beverages. I'm sure this will not be a problem, but I want to encourage moderation in drinking alcohol. Members consuming alcohol should plan on waiting at least 2 hours after consuming their last alcoholic beverage before departing the picnic area unless they have a designated driver.
- Carpooling is encouraged.
- Attendees will be provided a daily parking pass at no charge upon entry to the park as part of our rental agreement.
- Members will bring a food item or picnic accessories such as plates, plastic utensils, napkins, etc. Members will indicate which item(s) they will bring at time of RSVP. NOTE- Some members might offer to bring an item that is already listed. If we get too many of one item I will ask the member to choose another item.
- There are 2 nearby restroom facilities available within a few minutes of the picnic shelter.
- There is a wooded walking trail at the picnic site for those so inclined.
- There will be a corn hole set provided for entertainment. Any members who would like to bring an outdoor game are encouraged to do so.
- There are no electrical outlets at the shelter. I will bring a battery operated radio for our listening pleasure.
- This event will go forward unless there is a threat of severe weather.
I am excited about this opportunity to get together with the best group on meetup.
