2025 Annual Picnic Part II

Summer is winding down and we are going to take it out with another picnic.
We will be returning to Winton Woods at the Kingfisher picnic shelter (same as our June Picnic). We will gather at 11:00am for food, fun and friends. Directions to the picnic shelter will be sent out prior to the event date.
Please read the following information regarding the event:
- The event will be held at Winton Woods off Winton Road at the Kingfisher picnic shelter.
-The event is set for 40 people. Members are permitted to bring a guest.
If we exceed 40 attendees the guest count can be extended, however, the shelter we have rented holds 40 people so members might be required to bring their own chair.
- Since we are paying for the shelter, we are permitted to bring alcoholic beverages. I'm sure this will not be a problem, but I want to encourage moderation in drinking alcohol. Members consuming alcohol should plan on waiting at least 2 hours after consuming their last alcoholic beverage before departing the picnic area unless they have a designated driver.
- Carpooling is encouraged.
- Attendees will be provided a daily parking pass at no charge upon entry to the park as part of our rental agreement.
- Members will bring a food item or picnic accessories such as plates, plastic utensils, napkins, etc. Members will indicate which item(s) they will bring at time of RSVP. NOTE- Some members might offer to bring an item that is already listed. If we get too many of one item, I will ask the member to choose another item.
- There are 2 nearby restroom facilities available within a few minutes of the picnic shelter.
- There is a wooded walking trail at the picnic site for those so inclined.
- There will be a corn hole set provided for entertainment. Any members who would like to bring an outdoor game are encouraged to do so.
- There are no electrical outlets at the shelter. I will bring a battery- operated radio for our listening pleasure.
- Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash while in the park. This is a Hamilton county requirement.
- This event will go forward unless there is a threat of severe weather.
I am excited about this opportunity to get together with the best group on meetup.
