Mother's Day Blessings and "Parade"

We are very excited for our community to be welcomed to Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, TX to FILL YOUR FRIDGE! A very generous amount of food, including dairy, meat, and produce will be placed in your vehicle as you drive through this incredible place.

Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church is the home church of our very own Fred Whitfield from Huffines Automotive who has stood beside our community for many years.

Families who decorate their cars will be eligible for prizes. We have a tablet to give away, a gift card, and also some door prizes from Huffines for 1st - 3rd place. We also have special treats for each mom who comes, and that will have to be a surprise :). Our own photographer will also be on site for some special photos - so bring the kiddos!

If you are a parent in college or have a special situation, please take note:

We are blessed to welcome an organization called TSOFI on site that is interested in taking applications from families for a grant that could help provide significant relief. Some examples where their funding goes toward are dental repairs, education needs not covered through other resources, utility bills, car repairs, rent, fire/natural disaster victims needs.

They are a Philanthropic Educational Organization where women celebrate the advancement of women; educate women through scholarships, grants, awards, loans and stewardship and motivate each other to achieve their highest aspirations.

TSOFI’s goal is to provide financial support to help enable recipients to achieve economic self sufficiency and provide emergency assistance during catastrophic illness or crisis. TSOFI grants are NOT for reducing credit card debt or other accrued bills.

Reasons for request should be a DIRE situation – something a recipient cannot handle in their monthly budget or during a crisis. Applicants must demonstrate general fiscal responsibility and not have large savings or other assets. Applications meeting the eligibility are evaluated on a non-discriminatory basis without regard to race, national origin, religious affiliation, or disability.

Please know we love you, and want you to be happy, healthy, and whole. The team will be there hoping we get to see each of you for a quick touch base and a carload of treasures.

**Special note: we will also be reaching out to the single moms from the community surrounding the church, so bring your wonderful smiles and energy! It will be a time to celebrate YOU and also love on those who may come to our community ANEW!
