A gem of a film, life affirming and ultimately joyful. A posh Massachusetts boarding school with youngsters who have nowhere else to go to over the festive season. Nominated to be in charge is teacher Paul who is also on his own. A clever but troubled student, Angus and the head cook, Mary, make up those left to their own devices. The journey here is how they help one-another understand that they are not beholden to their past – they can choose their own futures.
