Summer Sizzle: Christian Singles Cookout and Social Event

Burgers and hot dogs will be sizzling on the grill at the Large Pavilion on the grounds of Rocky Point Park and Beach in Essex, MD.

Join us as we celebrate summer with beautiful views, old and yet-to-be-met friends, and the usual picnic shenanigans.
All food is included in the ticket cost - this is NOT A POTLUCK!

Located at the mouth of Back and Middle Rivers, Rocky Point Park and Beach boasts an expansive view of the Chesapeake Bay, Hart-Miller Island and Craighill Light and one of the nicest beaches on the upper Chesapeake.

COST
ADULTS
$20.00 per person in advance by June 25.
$30.00 per person on/after June 26 or upon arrival if space is available.
CHILDREN (under 12)
$10.00 per person in advance by June 25.
$15.00 per person on/after June 26 or upon arrival if space is available.

Your entrance fee into Rocky Point Park and Beach is included in the per person cost noted above. When
you arrive at the park, let the person at the entrance gate know you are with the Singlefaith group,
and you will not be charged the entrance fee.

KAYAK and PEDALBOAT rentals are available through Rocky Point Park and Beach for an additional fee. Hourly, Half-Day and All-Day Rentals.

There is a BEACH and you can go in the water or relax in a beach chair. The park has a bathhouse/showers and changing area - so, bring your swimsuit and beach towel!

YOU MUST PURCHASE A TICKET VIA THE WEBSITE TO ATTEND THIS EVENT.
Maximum capacity at the Pavilion at any time during the day is 100 people so register early to ensure your spot!

PARKING
Parking is available near the pavilion.

FOOD and BEVERAGES - This is NOT a POTLUCK
Starting shortly after Noon, Singlefaith will be providing burgers and hot dogs and all the fixins'.
Also provided will be traditional cookout side dishes and dessert.

You do not need to bring any food! All food included in the ticket cost.

Singlefaith will have limited bottled water available, if you want something other than bottled water to drink,
Please bring your own cooler and ice with non-alcoholic beverages for yourself or to share with others.

BRING a CHAIR - there is plenty of picnic table seating under the pavilion, however you may be more comfortable in a chair.

GAMES
We’d love it if you would bring some games to play. Cornhole and frisbee were big hits last year. Uno,
Skip Bo or a standard deck of cards also offer many opportunities to foster some friendly competition
and lots of laughs.

SEATING
The pavilion has 20 picnic tables. If you would feel more comfortable, please bring your own chair.

VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers are needed to help with set up, grilling, parking, check in table and breakdown/clean-up.
Please check the “I would like to help” button when you make your ticket purchase and we will reach out
to you as the event gets closer.
Singlefaith appreciates your willingness to donate 30-60 minutes of your time during the day to help make this event a success!

CANCELATION and REFUND POLICY
You may cancel your advance ticket purchase before June 25 by sending an email to [info@singlefaith.org](http://mailto:info@singlefaith.org/).
A $3.00 fee will be deducted to cover administrative and credit card fees, making your refund amount $17.00.
No refunds after June 25.
Tickets sold on/after June 25 are non-refundable because burgers and hot dogs will have already been purchased for you.
If the event is canceled by Singlefaith or by Baltimore County Parks & Recreation, your payment will be refunded in full.
