THURSDAY Mexican Train Dominoes at IHOP
PLEASE READ THE WHOLE POST BEFORE YOU RSVP. THANKS!! This is a fragrance-free event. Please refrain from wearing any and all fragrances. Thanks! This IHOP has a Wyoming address but is accessed off Wyoming and Holly. They serve a lot more than breakfast food and are quiet in the evenings. We will have a server so everyone will be expected to buy dinner and socialize before the game and leave a nice tip. Look forward to seeing you all at IHOP this week! Back by popular demand! Play Mexican Train dominoes. If you don't know how to play, we will teach you; it is a fairly simple game with many variations so we will play how I was taught and go from there. I will email the basic rules we will be using to Yes RSVPs. We will meet around 5:15-5:30 pm, grab a bite to eat, choose numbers, divide into groups and try to start play at 6 pm. If you have a little calculator, or one on your phone, you will probably need it. It is a pretty long game so we may or may not finish :) We will probably play until about 9 pm. Please plan on buying something at The International House of Pancakes; they have been extremely gracious to welcome us to use their space. Please put your cell phones away for the brief time we are together. Yes, you are expected to buy dinner before we play. Please do not bring any food or beverages from outside. Because numbers do matter, please do not sign up if you are a "Maybe" and please change your RSVP promptly if your plans change. To change your RSVP, click on Change at the top right where it says Your RSVP. Please be considerate of others - no shows and last-minute cancellations may not have their RSVPs accepted for future events. Looking forward to a fun evening!

What we're about

"Fringe" boomers are welcome in this meetup for active singles in their 50's-70's who enjoy doing things with a group of people committed to a healthy, active lifestyle. This is a cooperative volunteer group, with event hosts & assistant organizers leading a diverse range of activities, with an emphasis on the great outdoors and our vibrant Albuquerque arts scene (and some exploring in other parts of the state). Hiking, bicycling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, camping, dancing, music, happy hours, BBQ's & picnics, art shows, concerts, opera, theatre, film, volunteer work. If interested in leading/hosting an event, please contact me (Marcy). Boomers is not a dating site, but for people who like to make new friends. Unmarried couples are welcome, but single means divorced, widowed or unmarried. Let's conduct ourselves like grownups. FYI, activities are generally "adults-only" unless an event leader specifically invites children. GROUND RULES: Be considerate & appreciative of activity leaders & update RSVP's. Three no-shows; too much negativity or drama & you will be dropped from the group. Friendship encouraged before dating, if you should happen to meet someone. Please be discreet and try to remain cordial. If you have an issue with a member, communicate this to one of the organizers. Bring your sense of humor and your joie de vivre! Let's get out there & PLAY!

Please note: We try to support members in their arts and community service endeavors, but are not interested in marketing your product or services for personal profit. Please do that on your own time & website. I pay for this one, in the interest of building community.
