Well, lets hope for some snow by the 24th! At a Snowshoe Picnic you bring what you want to eat or share, but mainly for yourself. We'll snowshoe for about a mile or two, build a small fire, roast our hot dogs or brats, and just generally have a good time. You can bring something strong to drink if you want, but remember who is driving home. Haven't picked out the exact site of picnic yet, but it will be somewhere along Hwy 4 near the Valle Caldera. Total driving distance of about 70 miles one way. All driving will be on paved roads. Total snowshoing distance of maybe 4 miles. Elevation gain of maybe 500 feet. NO DOGS or WHINERS. Kids or Grandkids are welcome on this event, but you watch them. Snowshoeing is always STRENOUS so be prepared. DO NOT BRING FIREWOOD, there will be plenty to gather. Be prepared to reimburse your drivers at the rate of $.10 per mile roundtrip or about $15.00 for the day. We will leave Target at exactly 8AM. If your late, try and catch up. For more information, ask your questions below and I'll answer below.
