Hike Armijo Canyon II

Since for some reason the first hike got canceled, I'll try again. Armijo Canyon is located in the southern part of the El Malpais NCA. An alternate of the Continental Divide Trail runs through the canyon and I plan on hiking it to where it connects with the Sand Canyon road and then return. Along the way we'll see the old Armijo Ranch, Armijo Springs, maybe the Ditertt Site and if the group is good maybe a cliff grainery. Total hiking distance of around 8 miles. Elevation gain of 500 feet. Total driving distance one way of about 100 miles. NO DOG or WHINERS. Bring plenty of water and snacks for a long day of exploring. Dress for the weather. I would rate this event as STRENOUS due to unknown distance. The drive is all on pavement except for last 4 miles which is normally decent gravel and dirt roads. Most any vehicle can make this drive. Be prepared to reimburse your drivers at the rate of $.10 per mile round trip or about $20 for the day. For more information, ask your questions below and I'll answer below.
