This a quirky, completely Albuquerque art installation. It's hard to find but can be seen from Coors. I've only been there once and laughed the whole time. It's an easy walk - maybe 20 minutes each way? There are so many odd little things in the installation. AMAFCA has a scavenger hunt listed on the website. I'll print out a copy.

The trail is sandy and flat but be prepared for uneven footing. There is no shade. I think there's a covered picnic area but I don't think there are any other facilities. I've scheduled this for two hours but I'll be surprised if it takes that long.

Directions: Heading North on Coors Blvd NW (just North of Irving Blvd.), take a right on Westside Blvd NW. The entrance to the Calabacillas Arroyo access is on the left, where the road intersects with Riverfront Dr. Follow the access road to the right (heading East) to the parking area, where you will find the informational sign.

I hope to see you there!
