Clothing Drive

Hello peeps. I hope today finds each of you well. I am reaching out to those members with giving hearts. I will be holding a clothing drive for HopeWorks day shelter. I now volunteer two days in the kitchen and one day in their clothing room. They allow their clients a clean change of clothes daily IF they have. Because women are the key donators, there is always more women's clothing then men. So, I am really hoping this reaches the heart of you men in this particular meetup group. The men are severely lacking in EVERYTHING. Pants, tops, socks, and underwear. Both women and men are lacking when it comes to shoes. If you can go through your closet, and drawers, and get clean, but gently worn clothes, socks, and shoes you no longer wear or haven't worn in well over a year, that would greatly be appreciated. OR there are stores like Rainbow that has out of season sales where the shoes are as low as $5.00 a pair. Unfortunately, only women's shoes. The seasons will soon be changing, which will mean coats/jackets, hats, gloves, scarves, and boots. Please give as your heart leads you to. Those of you who see me regularly and have to give can catch me on/before, or any time after that date. And as usual, you can always drop the clothes off directly to the shelter itself, at 1201 3rd St NW. So, I look forward to seeing some of you out there. I'll have a pop-up canopy next to the white Jeep. Come on out and make a difference in your community... ❤️❤️❤️
