Great Falls Virginia Hiking Mixer - Followed by lunch at the Old Brogue

Going back to one of our favorite places. We will meet at 10:00 am because the parking lot tends to get full fast on Saturdays.

Let's enjoy some beautiful fall weather alongside some lovely views of Great Falls! We will walk down some paths and trails right near the water, it has some moderate hills but is mostly flat. It is about a 45 minute walk each way with great views of the falls. I have posted some pics from last years event there. Cell service is bad or non exisistent in most of the park. We will be in the park until around 12:00 and then meeting at the Old Borgue for lunch afterwards at 12:30.

Cost to get in is $20 per car, or $35 annually. So car pooling to get into the park would save money. Meeting spot location is below.

Physical parking passes are available for purchase on site or you can purchase a digital pass. After purchasing your online pass at recreation.gov, please download your pass (QR code) BEFORE arriving at the park! There is limited cell service on site and you may have difficulty downloading once at the park.

There are 3 different lots to park in with roughly equal distance of walking to meet at the visitor's center.

We will meet outside the Great Falls Visitor Center.

If you cant make the walk, you can meet us at The Old Brogue 12:30 pm, which is about 10 minutes away.
